天畫廊于2007年9月1日在北京開幕。座落在北京大山子798藝術(shù)區(qū)黃金地段，天畫廊新館建筑面積900平方米，由韓國著名設(shè)計師設(shè)計，按當代多功能展示廳規(guī)劃建設(shè)，具備小型美術(shù)館規(guī)模，極具觀賞性和實用性。

館內(nèi)有三層展廳，一二層展廳之間為活動墻，可以配合不同展覽需求變化展廳空間大小。并且可以同時展示多樣化形式題材的藝術(shù)。首層層高4.5米，二層為主展廳，30％層高7米，70％層高4.5米，三層30％為戶內(nèi)展廳，層高3米，30％為戶外展廳，可以展示雕塑、行為等戶外藝術(shù)，40％設(shè)為VIP學術(shù)交流室，用于國際間學術(shù)交流研究。

北京天畫廊自開幕以來，邀請多個著名策展人策劃了多場有學術(shù)水平的展覽，獲得了強烈的反響。開幕展是由藝術(shù)批評家高嶺博士歷時兩年策劃，全面總結(jié)和反映中國當代藝術(shù)界近二十年來以動物為主要表現(xiàn)題材的展覽、文獻及研討會系列學術(shù)活動。學術(shù)收獲獲得業(yè)界專家一致好評。

天畫廊將通過與國際上多家美術(shù)館、藝術(shù)機構(gòu)、收藏機構(gòu)的合作，聘請多位資深策展人、美術(shù)館館長……精心舉辦每一場有學術(shù)影響力的展覽，全力推動中國當代藝術(shù)的發(fā)展。

GalleryTN.Allthewallscanberebuiltaccordingtheneedofexhibitions.Theheightofthefirstflooris4.5meters,30%ofthesecondfloor’sheightis7metersandtherestis4.5meters.Themainexhibithallisthesecondfloor,partofthethirdfloorisexhibithallandtheotherpartisourofficeroomwhichcanbeusedtoseminarofacademicexchange.
