新時(shí)代畫廊，在創(chuàng)始于1984年，隸屬伯林文化事業(yè)。1989年，成立伯林藝術(shù)中心。
2001年，發(fā)展成立“新時(shí)代藝術(shù)事業(yè)有限公司”，將所屬各子部門，包括展覽企劃部，藝術(shù)投資部，藝術(shù)拍賣部，藝術(shù)出版部等，整合成為一個(gè)復(fù)合式全方位的藝術(shù)事業(yè)體。
新時(shí)代畫廊，以經(jīng)營(yíng)當(dāng)代油畫，尤其以華人畫家為主。長(zhǎng)期經(jīng)營(yíng)的畫家包括長(zhǎng)期旅居海外的華人藝術(shù)家，如趙無極，朱德群，魏樂堂，常玉、趙春翔等，以及中國(guó)第一代油畫家，如林風(fēng)眠，徐悲鴻，劉海粟，汪亞塵，吳作人，常書鴻，陳抱一，錢鼎等。近期積極拓展中國(guó)新生代的潛力新秀。定期舉辦展覽，每年舉辦主題展，并經(jīng)常與歐美畫廊交流聯(lián)誼，積極與國(guó)內(nèi)外各藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)舉辦交流展覽。展現(xiàn)了畫廊未來經(jīng)營(yíng)之遠(yuǎn)見。吸引了許多藝術(shù)家，藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)，國(guó)際拍賣公司及收藏家的青睞與信賴，擁有廣大的人脈及知名度。成為藝術(shù)界著名的畫廊。
北京新時(shí)代畫廊于2007年4月成立，著重于發(fā)現(xiàn)，發(fā)掘并推出當(dāng)代油畫藝術(shù)新秀。未來將陸續(xù)推出一系列年輕華人畫家，開拓年輕藝術(shù)家的事業(yè)及推動(dòng)中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的發(fā)展。
